- Currently showing primary and developing mature notes with robust tannins and balanced acidity
The 2012 vintage in Valpolicella was excellent, producing structured Amarone with concentrated fruit and balanced acidity. Bertani’s traditional appassimento drying and aging in large Slovenian oak casks ensure slow tannin maturation and complexity, enabling a long drinking window peaking about 8-15 years post vintage.

Pairs beautifully with game meats, aged cheeses, grilled lamb, beef stew, rich mushroom dishes, and hearty pasta with meat sauces.
