Sustainability
Sustainability score: 7/10
Use of environmentally responsible farming practices, including reduced pesticide use, water management, and energy efficient facilities
While Salon has not yet achieved organic/biodynamic certification, the house benefits from Champagne Laurent-Perrier's sustainability program incorporating eco-friendly vineyard management and production methods. Given the wine's high prestige and traditional production methods, sustainability is steadily improving though there is room for more organic or biodynamic adoption and lighter packaging to reduce carbon footprint.
