The 2019 vintage was very good on Etna with excellent acidity and tannic structure in the Nerello Mascalese. This allows the wine to age gracefully, with the best drinking window starting 4-5 years post vintage and extending well into the mid-2030s. The volcanic soils impart mineral complexity that evolves positively over time.
