The 2019 vintage in Wachau was very good with ripe but balanced grapes; the Loibenberg Smaragd vineyard contributes exceptional mineral intensity and aging structure. High natural acidity combined with concentrated fruit allows this wine to develop new layers of complexity over two decades, progressing from crisp youth to a lush mature expression without losing freshness.
