Sustainability score: 9/10
Manual vineyard work, extensive canopy management, organic viticulture including green manure, herbal teas, and natural sprays; low-impact farming, reduction of chemical inputs; renewable energy use at winery; water conservation and conscious resource management; traditional local bottle suppliers, lighter packaging for reduced impact
Chiara Boschis is renowned as a pioneering Barolo producer in organic vineyard management and gentle, minimal-intervention winemaking. All estate vineyards are certified organic, and the winery focuses on biodiversity, natural pest management, and sustainable resource use. Packaging is increasingly eco-friendly and lighter.
