Ploussard from Jura is a naturally light, aromatic red with medium acidity and soft tannins. The 2022 vintage shows ripe fruit but will gain complexity after 2-3 years. Moderate tannins and good acidity allow gradual maturation up to 8-10 years, beyond which the wine softens and tertiary notes emerge.
