This single-vineyard Roero Riserva from a reference producer in a strong recent vintage has structure to age 12–16 years from harvest, similar to excellent Barbaresco, but typically reaches its expressive peak slightly earlier than Barolo due to terroir and vinification. 2023's quality, combined with careful oak use and Deltetto's reputation, gives this bottling extended longevity beyond most Roero, with peak expected after 8–14 years and graceful aging for another half decade.
Food pairing
Tajarin with white truffles, braised beef or veal, wild mushroom risotto, aged Pecorino, roasted game birds, polenta with rabbit ragù
