Fontalloro 2016 is a top single-vineyard Sangiovese from Felsina, a highly respected Chianti Classico estate. The vintage was excellent in Tuscany with concentrated fruit and good structure. The wine’s firm tannins and acidity give it long aging potential, and the best drinking window starts about 9 years from vintage. By the late 2020s, it will display full complexity and roundness.
